Cookie Policy

The short version
By default Nicetats sets no cookies — no accounts, no login, no tracking. If you accept the cookie banner, we enable Google Analytics (anonymous usage statistics with IP anonymization) so we can see which pages and tools help people. Decline, and nothing loads. Everything you edit stays on your device either way.
Analytics (only after you accept)
With consent, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies to count visits and page views. We use it in aggregate only — no ad personalization, and your photos or designs are never part of it. Withdraw consent anytime by clearing this site's data in your browser; the banner will ask again.
Local storage we use
Local storage is data saved by your browser, on your device, that is never sent to us:
- Cookie banner choice — remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we don't ask again.
- Editor conveniences — your finger/stylus input preference and the contact details you type into the PDF export form, so you don't retype them.
You can clear all of it anytime via your browser's "clear site data" option.
Advertising cookies (planned)
Nicetats is free, and we plan to keep it that way by showing ads (Google AdSense) on content pages — never inside the editor. When that happens, Google may set advertising cookies, but only after you accept in the cookie banner; declining keeps the site cookie-free for you. This page and the banner will be updated before any ads go live, and EU/EEA visitors will get a compliant consent prompt.
Changing your choice
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will ask again on your next visit. For more on how we handle data generally, see the Privacy Policy.
